Frequently Asked Questions

Should I REPAIR or REPLACE my windshield?

If the damage is larger than a half-dollar or in the driver’s line of sight, replacement is usually recommended.

How long will my repair or replacement take?

Most repairs take about 30 minutes. Replacements typically take 1–2 hours plus safe-drive-away time.

Do I have a lane departure or collision-avoidance camera?

One of the easiest ways to tell if your vehicle has this feature is by checking for a dashboard indicator that activates when the system is in use. You can also usually see a camera lens near the rear-view mirror when looking at the windshield from outside the vehicle.

Some newer Cars models use a dual-camera system, with cameras on both sides, and may offer multiple configuration options. If you’re unsure, simply include your VIN in the order form or contact us, and we’ll be happy to verify this for you.

What’s the difference between OEM and aftermarket glass?

OEM glass matches manufacturer specs, while aftermarket glass is produced by third-party suppliers.
